I have no technical backround. Is it worth it for me to pursue intellectual property law ?

Author: I have applied to law school for next year. I am very interested in Intellectual property law, specifically copyright and trademark law. From what I understand a large degree of technical experience is required for patent law. Would this be a significant hindrance to my future job prospects
