Can I become an intellectual property lawyer without a technical background?

I am interested in copyright litigation but in undergrad I studied Psych and Economics. Does anyone know if I will still be able to pursue this career?

Yes you can because most of the issues are legal. You can always hire an engineer to consult for you and then profit from that as you bill the time to your client.
